Here is a HUGE collectible cabochon of gorgeous rhodochrosite, from Catamarca, Argentina, cut from the famed Ortiz 'Red Ruby' material prized from the highest level of the mine. This gemmy gel-like cab features glowingly intense reddish-pink coloration that's to die for gorgeous. It has the typical crystalline veil inclusions within, a delightful degree of warm translucence, and some interesting sparkle when viewed at side angles. It's a total knockout, folks, absolutely delicious! This premium deluxe beauty has a sweet designer 'S' shape, a well rounded dome of nearly 6mm, and a slick glossy polish both front and back.
