Mexican lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. There's a boldly scalloped pattern of fortifications in this creamy golden stone, as well as some mossy sagenitic plumes. It's a shadow agate, showing an excellent degree of parallax, which means the bands appear to shift open and closed with movement. As you can see from the backlit photo, this gemmy cab is highly translucent agate. No doubt it will be grand in any type of setting, from gold or silver to beads and leather, or anything else you might dream up. It has a low but nicely rounded dome, brought to a brilliant polish both front and back.
