Carnival agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from a relatively new agate from Mexico, dubbed carnival agate. I think it's a more a mixture of jasper and agate, but otherwise the name is quite appropriate. Its festive pattern is a colorful blend of coral/red, pink, yellow and orange, and the dark grayish areas are actually filled with translucent quartz that has a bit of sparkle. Try some, I think you'll like it! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a great polish both front and back.
