Ochoco Mt. agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Ochoco Mountain lace/tube agate. This fabulous beauty came from an old stockpile I lucked into last year; what a happy day, this stuff is a great favorite of mine! It features pale peach and green mossy tube-like threads in a translucent agate base, giving the stone a delightful dimension of depth. There's also a secondary pattern of white 'water level' bands running through the stone that remind me of how the light sometimes streams down from high clouds. It's a beauty, for sure! The cab has a generously high rounded dome of nearly 8mm, a whimsically sleek shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
