Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a unique ocean jasper cab, from Madagascar. This one's of the more jaspery variety, though the lighter areas do show an gemmy semi-translucence. This splendid stone is ornately patterned with various-sized bullseyes in multiple colors, along with some neat fortification bandings too. There are a couple druzy pockets adding quite a bit of character, but there is one small pit near the edge that must be mentioned. It's visible as a tiny dark spot in the second pic, at the bottom center, and will probably be concealed by most any setting. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 5.5mm, and it is polished front and back.
