Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a large and unique cabochon of Montana dendritic agate, cut from rough I 'found' July before last in a Montana rockshop. heh This one has an unusual large orb, surrounded by inky black dendrites that form a sort of stitched banding. The background is very translucent, almost opalescent, with but a couple odd lines, and no fractures. It's a treasure, certainly, and I hope it inspires you to create something marvelous! The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and a brilliantly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
