Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of malachite, from Zaire. It features the classic beauty of countless fine bandings in rich, vividly contrasting shades of light and dark green, including some areas that show just a wee bit of chatoyance. Plenty of character and appeal in this one! It's sure to look absolutely magnificent set in either silver or gold, no doubt. The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 8mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, with a super glossy polish both front and back. Priced WAAAAAAAY under a buck a carat, I must be nuts!
