Montana barkstone cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Montana barkstone. I can't tell you the exact composition for certain, but the colors and patterns seem quite similar to Michigan's kona dolomite. This example is very festive, with confetti-like patches in various shades of rosy pinkish orange. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and with the exception of a few teensy pits, it has a glossy polish both front and back.
