Tiger iron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This interesting stone has brilliant gold patches of chatoyant tigereye flashing like mad, surrounded by ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite. There's only a few streaks of jasper in this striking example, in muted orange and red. The stone has fun designer 'paisley' shape, a high and well rounded dome of 6mm, brought to a gleaming polish both front and back.
