Tube agate cab ~
Here is a cabochon of tube agate, quite unlike any other I've cut. This fancy agate has an oddly marbled white area pierced by tube-like structures (holes) with lacy golden threads of moss peeking out from inside. There's quite a lot going on in this unusual example, along with a lovely translucence. It has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a boldly crisp designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
