Oco geode cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from a slice of an Oco geode, (aka Ocho), from Brazil. This translucent agate has a lovely presence, owing to the many intricate feathery white wisps which frame its sparkly crystal-studded center. There's a rounded patch of dark carnelian orange, and below that is a small area of pale beige matrix that remained matte, without shine. Still, it's a worthy stone, one you're sure to have fun with. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 4+mm, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
