Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fine cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This old stock material was some of the first to show up in the lapidary market, and I really like it alot. It features multiple orbs and bullseyes in several pleasantly contrasting hues. The deep green area is quite gemmy and translucent. With such a winning combination of colors and patterns, it's a beauty that's virtually impossible to ignore, and will be smashing in even the simplest of settings. But be forewarned, you'll probably have a tough time parting with it, as I am now! The stone has a very high rounded dome of 6mm, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
