Charoite cab ~
Offered here is a delightful cabochon of charoite, from the only deposit where it's ever been found, in Russia. This cab features a lovely degree of pearly chatoyance, with great lavender and purple coloration. There's a touch of jet black aegirine-augite, as well as a couple translucent pools of feldspar that add to its character. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a curvy designer shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
