Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a collectible cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. It was cut from the heart of a prized nodule, showing terrific bands in pastel shades of raspberry/pink, both light and dark, with a delightfully gemmy translucence. Some areas display a respectable degree of parallax, which is the optical illusion of the bands shifting open and closed. It's a knockout cab you're sure to be proud of, whatever you plan for it. The stone has a low but well rounded dome of 4.5+mm, a gracefully fluid shape, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
