Ochoco tube cab ~
Here is a dandy doublet cabochon of lacy Ochoco tube agate, from Oregon. This beauty features tubes of various sizes, mostly in white, with clear agate between that lets the dark basenite backing do its contrasting magic. The jet black shows through the translucence, turning the stone a lovely pale blue. But the prettiest parts, by my lights, are the golden colored areas, very unique and intriguing. This collectible cab will do you proud, whatever your plans for it. It has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a versatile shape, and it is polished to a glassy finish both front and back.
