Tube agate cab ~
Offered here is an outstanding cabochon of tube agate. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it's probably Agua Neuva agate, because of the strand of rusty moss. This slab from which it was cut came from an old stockpile I lucked into last year. And what a happy day that was because tube agate is a great favorite of mine! This cabochon has a pale lavender amethystine tinge in some areas of the pattern, and contrasting tubes galore. At the pale blue agate core is a sparkling druzy pocket with tiny crystals, also with a hint of amethyst. It's even more amazing backlit, just oozing with character! The stone has a rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'flame' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
