Rutilated quartz cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of rutilated quartz, from Brazil. This spectacular example features water clear quartz with plenty of golden yellow rutile needles. Several of the needles are grouped in bunches, adding much interest and an appealing depth. It does have several of the typical 'fairy frost' inclusions, as seen in the pics, but it's gorgeous nonetheless. The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, and a brilliantly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
