Apache chrysocolla cab ~
Offered here is a remarkable cab of Apache chrysocolla, from Arizona's Definance mine. I brought this home in the rough from the Quartzite shows a few years ago, but left it packed away until recently; when that first slice came out of the saw, I was sorry to have waited so long to cut it! WOW, huh? This stone has a truly striking pattern that includes brilliant turquoise blues and greens (somewhat brighter than the photos show), flecks of sky blue, and patches of bright red cuprite in an almost brecciated pattern. All 100% natural, not dyed or treated in any way. In my own jewelry, such bright and colorful chrysocollas just about fly out the door, so I encourage you to try some yourself. Surely you can find the perfect way to feature this attractive stone in your own creations. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a crisply bold designer shape, polished both front and back.
