Owyhee jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family features a wild pattern in most sought after reds, with rich earthy ochre and creamy pastel yellow. There's a scattering of tiny peppery dendrites too. One of my all time favorite jaspers, this classic treasure is a beauty, a real keeper! The stone is a low domed, about 4mm thick, polished to a brilliant perfection both front and back.
