Owyhee jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family features a wild zig-zagging pattern in red, with rich earthy ochre on one side, and a creamy pastel yellow along the other. There's a scattering of tiny peppery dendrites too. One of my all time favorite jaspers, this classic treasure is a beauty, a real keeper! The stone is a nicely domed 5.5mm thick, long and gracefully shaped, with a slick glassy polish both front and back.
