Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Priday moss agate, from the old Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. This example is truly a unique and distinguished cab, with a variety of patterns in several colors. There's brilliant carnelian orange and red agate, mossy tendrils of green and mauve, along with some hints of tubes and water level banding. It's very appealingly translucent, as illustrated by the backlit photo, giving the stone a fascinating dimension of depth. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of just under 5mm, a sleek symmetrical shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
