Bull Canyon agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of beautiful Bull Canyon agate, from the Northern California/Nevada border area. This is a terrific agate that's not often seen, and that's a shame because it's truly wonderful stuff! I fell in love with it from the very first, and bought a bunch from the claim holder. This one features a busy pattern of orangish mossy tubes in a highly translucent agate base. What sets it off is the sparkling drusy edge, and as you can see, many of the crystals are nicely terminated. It's a beauty I hope someone can have some fun with! The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and a nice glassy polish both front and back. In case it matters, there's a small void near the edge on the backside, but it shouldn't interfere with proper setting.
