Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a dramatic cabochon of Priday moss agate, from the Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. This colorful stone was cut from the heart of an old stock nodule I 'found' in Quartzite, and sliced up several years ago. As the photos illustrate, this beauty's just bursting with red finger-like streamers of tubes, against a background of blue agate. There's also some very realistic green moss at the large end, and a strip of burnt orange matrix down one side. The cab has a low but well-rounded dome, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
