Offered here is a lovely cabochon of Chinese pietersite. This colorful stone features gold, midnight blue and deep red chatoyance in a swirled pattern that shifts and changes with the light. Please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see how the primary colors intertwine. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back. And my per carat price for a stone of this quality is a steal!
