Imperial cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of imperial jasper, from Mexico. This example is oddly scenic, with jagged 'mountain peaks' outlined by a thin vein of blue agate zig-zagging through the stone, separating the earthy colors. Well, that is if you consider purplish brown to be earthy... I guess the colors could properly be called shades of puce, tan and cream, which are unusual, even for imperial jasper. It's a one in a million stone that will, hopefully, provide plenty of inspiration. It has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
Size: 38x22mm
