Brazilian agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of top notch banded carnelian agate, from Brazil. It features bands of brilliant orange with streaks of black, in a background agate of burnt yellow. I especially like the puffy orbs and dashes afloat near the center, and the way they cast shadows in the translucent agate, adding an attractive dimension of depth. The stone has a low but well rounded dome of nearly 4mm, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
