Graveyard plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a doublet cabochon of Graveyard Point plume agate, from Oregon. This ornate example has lovely snowy white and peach plumes tipped with rusty brown suspended in a translucent agate base. The details in this artful cab are beautifully revealed by the jet black backdrop of the basenite, permanently bonded to the back of this agate, which changes the colors in a most interesting way. There are areas of fluffy clouds, subtle tubes, and patches of yellow, very much reminding me of an underwater garden of lush, living corals wafting in the current. I think you'll do great things with this one! The stone has a smooth rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
