Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of rare Riviera plume agate, from Mexico. This beautiful, seldom seen material is a great favorite, and tough to come by, anymore. All too often, it's typically riddled with vugs, but not this one! Super detail in this fine example, very intricate and showy, including the classic fancy plumage in burnt yellow-orange, and several small fortifications against a
background of translucent bluish-purple agate. The stone has a very high rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
