Blue moss agate cab ~
Here is a trippy cab of moss agate, with a decidedly bluish tint. I found the rough stone a few years ago in a creek we used as our summer swimming hole, near Gardnerville, Nevada. Couldn't tell you if it has a specific name, but it's certainly interesting stuff; this is about the last of what I have. There are subtly metallic black and dark rusty red threads framing 'liquid' pools of bluish agate, and one teensy drusy pocket. There is a nice quality of depth to this one because it is partially translucent. The cab has a well rounded dome of about 5mm, a designer 'shield' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
