Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. It features lacy banding in shades of darkest rosy brown alternating with clear and snowy white agate. Kinda reminds me of candy somehow. It certainly has an eye-catching contrast, and the many intricate bands do produce a bit of that neat optical illusion called parallax, seeming to magically open and close with movement. This one will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations, whatever your plans for it, in even the simplest of settings. It has a well rounded dome of 6+mm and a gracefully fluid designer shape, polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
