Tube agate cab ~
Here is a fancy cabochon of golden tube agate. Sorry, I can't quite recall where it hails from, but it sure is gorgeous stuff . Beautiful golden yellow tubes, and lots of them, in a translucent milky agate base that includes lots of fortification bands, and even some bullseyes. There's a neat drusy hole penetrating the large end, as you can see by the photos, and I think this one has excellent designer potential. The cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
