Malachite cuprite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of unusual Nevada material I brought home from an estate sale, so I can't tell you all the particulars, except I rather like the stuff. It appears to be quartz-based, much of which is cuprite-stained a deep rusty red and orange, with scattered flecks of green malachite. I've had great success with these stones in my own jewelry, and I encourage you to try some yourself. Surely you can find the perfect way to feature this attractive stone in your own creations. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a crisply bold designer shape, polished both front and back.
