Botswana agate cab ~
Offered here is a large and dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. This has got to be one of the most splendid Botswana agates I've ever had the pleasure of cutting. The intricate pattern of fortification bandings is totally awesome, and the gorgeous rosy hues shading out from the center make this one truly top notch. It's a show stopper with contrast and impact by the trainload, a real keeper if ever there was one. Front and center if it's destined for your showcase, or it can be worn with pride, and will be fabulous in even the simplest of settings. It has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 8mm and a graceful designer shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back. The only imperfection I can find is a single teensy hairline feather that plays peekaboo; no distraction atall.
