Chrysoprase cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of Australian chrysoprase from a newly discovered find near
Yerilla, Australia. Like the old Marlboro material, it's a gemmy chalcedony colored by the presence of
nickel in beautiful shades of mint green that positively GLOWS. This particular example shows a degree of translucence, with fluffy clouds and threads of clear agate adding much to the visual interest. This
substantial beauty has a very high rounded dome of 6+mm, a bold shape that's sure to
help get your creative juices flowing, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
