Mexican lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This classic old stock material is a joy to work with, and this particular example illustrates why. It has beautiful fortification banding that frames tiny bursts of sagenite, very ornate and intriguing. Nice contrasting colors too. Many bands are very translucent, giving the stone a remarkable dimension of depth, and a nice added touch of parallax. It has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a graceful designer shape you'll have fun with, and a bright, glassy polish both front and back.
