Rhodochrosite cab ~
Offered here is a very special, well matched 4 cab suite of rhodochrosite, from Catamarca, Argentina. Not easy to come by like it once was, last I heard, the price of rough from this classic location is strictly controlled by the Argentinian goverment. These extraordinary stones feature attractively vibrant rose-pink coloration with an ornate, lacy banded pattern. Each is highly translucent, as illustrated by the backlit photo, and I can see no pits or other flaws on any of the stones; they're absolutely top-flight SUPERB! Each of the four teardrops has a very high rounded dome, and an excellent polish both front and back.
