Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a marvelous cabochon of Priday moss agate, from the old Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. It was cut from some very old stock that had been tucked away for decades in the cherished collection of an old gentleman rockhound. This example is truly a unique and distinguished cab, with an intriguing pattern of multi-colored mosses and stringers in hues of green, orange and maroon, along with a couple pools of bluish-purple agate. It's very appealingly translucent, as illustrated by the backlit photo, giving the stone a fascinating dimension of depth. The cab has a very nicely rounded dome, a strong but sleek symmetrical shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
