Blue lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a sweet matching trio of blue lace agate cabochons, from Africa. This classic old favorite material is becoming scarce and spendy lately, especially in the finest quality that everyone wants. I think these are EXTRA NICE. Each of the three has an attractive lacy pattern in bluish-lavender tones, alternating with lighter bands of translucent and clear agate, as well as crystalline areas that resemble crushed ice. One thing I've noticed that all blue agates seem to share in common, is their tendency toward what I term 'moodiness'. The dimmer the light, the deeper the color, but always gorgeous! Whatever you choose to dream up for these beauties, no doubt you'll be pleased. The stones have nicely rounded domes of 5mm, graceful designer 'paisley' shapes, and despite a few teensy pinpoint voids in the crystalline areas, they are polished to brilliantly glassy perfection both front and back.
