Carey plume agate ~
Offered here is a Carey plume agate cabochon, from Oregon. The source of this rare material has been completely dug out long ago, and looking at the fiery plumage here, I can sure see why it was collected to extinction. All that you'll find nowadays in already in the hands of collectors, who tend to cherish them above everything else, and never let go. (Heh, I'm one of them!) This cab features a scattering of blood red and orange plumes in a brightly translucent canary yellow base. It's small but mighty, just the kind of stone to transform your next creation into a treasured heirloom! It has a nicely rounded dome just short of 6mm, a gracefully fluid shape, and it is perfectly polished both front and back.
